Built for tenants who are tired of “mandatory” nonsense.
RentFeeWatch exists for one reason: renters keep getting hit with “required” add-on charges that feel unrelated to rent — portal fees, “resident benefit” bundles, HVAC filter programs, identity protection, credit reporting, and vendor services like PetScreening. Some of these are disclosed clearly; many are buried, vague, or introduced through confusing workflows.
We help you organize the documents (lease, invoice/ledger, addenda, notices) and compare: What you agreed to vs what you’re being billed.
What we do
- Scan + extract text from PDFs (so you don’t get copy/paste gibberish).
- Compare lease language and billing line items.
- Generate polite, direct letters: “cite the lease,” “provide the addendum,” “explain the opt-out,” and “review/refund.”
- Aggregate reports so other tenants can see patterns (optional / shareable).
Philosophy: keep it calm, factual, and document-driven. Make them point to the clause. Make the workflow accountable.
